      <p>Interesting read, especially since I really take a lot of time to tend to my low end as I want it to be part of my sig sound as an engineer (since I come from heavy bass music). Have you tried the weiss ds1-mk3 in parallel trick for bumping the low end whilst keeping consistent? Would love to have your feedback and experience on it, so I could find ways to optimize it (to be completely honest, I&#39;ve long had the thought that the safari plugins were kinda snakeoiley)

A few questions I had as I&#39;m delving into the world of production (I&#39;ve only been doing it after work for the past year so I&#39;m very beginner at this stage). 

-What is the best way to send a mix through to the mixing/mastering engineer once I&#39;m done producing? (i&#39;m currently working out of reaper) 
-would the new Curves AQ from waves be useful for the mixing engineer to see what i&#39;m thinking in the rough mix or should I do the rough eq myself?
-What happens if I record in different sample rates?
-is it possible to do &#34;car tests&#34; in studio using a certain EQ curves?

I&#39;m glad I&#39;m not the only one that feels that way about sample pack Kicks by the way, I thought I was hearing things with the ASDR stuff.

      <p>Since you are using these tools, sharing your experience makes a lot of techniques accessible, or, at least, creates a deeper understanding of how to operate them. 
Even if you are centered on mastering (and that happening in many genres), there&#39;s still lots of spill-over into production (in my case EDM), which then results in better mixes ... and better masters. 
I&#39;ve noticed your collection of presets ... inspiring! I&#39;ll check yours and adapt me a set.
